Nonamer2600 no it has not i think like gozirra said our maintainer is just busy with other things the unoffical build is fantastic so I think we have very good odds of getting it once cm9 hits stable and our maintainer has some free time.

yep gotta wait for another maintainer to pick up the slack probably which wouldn't happen until a stable is released and then we go to CM10. I'll bet that I'll have CM9/10 on the new nexus i pick up in sept/oct before inc gets some love LOL :-D.

Most maintainers don't monitor or look at the forums, whether they are very active or not.

I'm not a maintainer, but do plan on trying to get the Inc up and running when I get my computer, hopefully in a month. Depending on where CM10 is, I might skip 9. The hardest part is getting a stable 3.0 kernel ported, and the second hardest part is going to be documenting my changes enough that CUViper will approve and merge them.
Also, not having another phone (this Inc is my only phone and I need it for work) or even a spare Inc to test on will slow me down. I'll see if I can get a cheap spare Inc or another phone completely so I can free up my Inc.
As always, no promises and no ETAs.

I for one appreciate your willingness to help out. The only "issue" i am aware of is the camcorder which might just need the resolution lowered. Using the thirdparty app I noticed that setting it to the 720p resolution makes the app freak out but anything else works like a champ. Its hard porting any android version let alone one for a phone that the manufacturer doesn't update.

Yes, but it's not about what works and what doesn't. CM is more about clean code that is readable and manageable. I haven't looked at his or evervolve's (which drk borrows from, especially the device tree and kernel perhaps) repo, but as-was it wouldn't be merged since the code was kind of hack and slash with no real track of commits and what not.
I've always had the philosophy that it would be easier to tear it down completely, and start a new, then slowly add back stuff. That way I know what I'm dealing with instead of taking the project as is and sifting through to clean it up.

This is not about how active I've been as a maintainer. It's a whole class of similar devices being discontinued in CM, even including the Nexus One.
There are a number of outside builds that may still tide you all over -- drkhd has one, and if pons gets going too, that's great. I urge DINC fans to help those folks out as much as you can, as long as you'd like to keep the community alive. And as the G+ post says, this decision could possibly be revisited in the future.

Thanks CUVIPer i still love using the ICS nightly ports as my daily driver until google releases their next nexus device in Nov/Dec Until that time i will happily use my inc until I can get CM11 running KLP
