I've read that in order for CM to be officially supported for devices, it has to be stable enough as a daily driver (or something like this). I know that there are other people with LTEvo's out there who want CM on it. So in order to get it supported, I'm linking kushdeck's work on CM on here so other people can get it up and running perfectly on the Evo.

I love my EVO 4G LTE. The only thing that could make it better would be an official build of CM. The other ROMs out there are ok, but no where as stable as what I had with my evo 4g running CM7. What can a normal Joe do to help?

they released source recently, so does that mean we will be official soon?

IMHO, HTC could take a lesson from Samsung and get a little cozy with the CM team, unless their arrangement with Samsung specifies exclusivity, in which case HTC could at least throw some complimentary, early-release hardware CM's way.
In the meantime, there is a very refined, fully functional unofficial cm9 port for us over on xda that shows what this phone can really do when Sense isn't bogging things down. I'll never go back to a Sense based ROM now.
Just my 2¢.

The newest Evo is Sprint's flagship phone as far as most of us are concerned, so between that and the recent release of our source from HTC, nightly builds of cm10 for the Evo LTE should be coming down the pipe. (I don't think they'll bother with CM9 at this point).

Hello,
I know it has been a bit since the original and follow up posts but could someone please post a link to the fully functional CM9 port?
I looked through the posts xda-developers forums and the closest i could find was this http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1683384 but as the OP's post states:

Not Working:
-Panorama
-Tethering

Andromorphone, where did you find the fully functional CM9?

Cm9 for the EVO 4G LTE is dead.
Deck has CM10 as a daily driver though. You have to go to his IRC to get it

You can get Deck's CM10 unofficial port for the HTC EVO 4G LTE here http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1851912. Please keep in mind that this is work in progress and by no means is it complete.
Cyanogenmod is officially producing nightly builds. You can get them here. http://download.cyan...ice=jewel&type=. These builds are based off of deck's 8/20/12 build.
This is their official announcement http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1851912
Enjoy.

When is the EVO 4G LTE going to get an official spot in rg&e list of devices on this forum? The EVO 4G has a spot and that phone is 3 years old.
