I hope this is posted in the correct sub-forum, apologies in advance if not.
I am currently running mod:
CM9 20120507 Nightly
kernel :
3.0.30-CM-g8e5edb1
Android Version :
4.0.4
I just wanted some assistance on the correct method of upgrading the nightly rom, so that i dont lose settings and have to re-install apps.
Also i wanted to know what is the best kernel to use with the nightly builds.

Download ultimate version of CM9 NB in this link: http://download.cyan...device=galaxys2
put the .zip file in root on memory of cell.
Restart in recovery mode.
Navigate to: Install zip from sd card > Choose zip from internal sd card > update-cm-9-.... > Yes - Install Update-cm-9
And Now: "Wipe cache partition > yes" and "Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache > Yes"
And the best Kernel in my opinion is Siyah Kernel, you can get it on this link: http://gokhanmoral.com/
