I'd like to update to this - but the more I read, the more confused I get.

Rom Manager on the phone said update and touch available and 3 choices to pay for it. Fine.
I go to Play to check out what Touch is, and what the update does.
Only thing that even looks similar states that it isn't the one by Koush. OK - read info. Info has paragraph:

"Do you prefer using only recovery manually? Check out the Touch Recovery in app purchase, for the most advanced recovery available!"

No info on that - and I'll be damned if the connection to the RM website has any info either!
I can't find it. Is that the one the update on the phone is referring to? Where's the info?

I want to know what I'm getting with update before I do it.

Start reading comments. A lot of the top comments are now panning Rom Manager.

I did back up everything on General Principle. Instead of a separate file like the tutorial I was reading, the backup is on the SD card - in a file called simply Clockwork Mod. Is this right?
I've got it all backed up on the computer.

Is the full update guide in the Nexus Wiki current? Are all the steps there? I got into trouble with a tutorial before the wiki here as the poster forgot a step - either he did forget or assumed everyone knew it. Please DON'T assume.

This is getting as bad as searching for help on Ubuntu. Every damn post that answers a question you have is from 2010 or before! Or there's no answer.

I've found some of the info - but none of it is in the same place! You have to search with a bunch of terms to find what you want.
