While I like the CM9 boot animation I had an idea for an alternative for future versions. Basically, it would be Cid with the glowing circle spinning, but then once the light filled the screen instead of the plasma-y background Cid could be superimposed on an animation based on that version of Android's Easter egg. So for CM9 it would have been the 8-bit style ICS bugdroids flying with fireworks, for CM10 it could be floating jelly beans. I thought it could look good but also differentiate different versions while establishing some sort of pattern, assuming Google keep up the Easter egg tradition.

So, what do you think?
