Hello

I have flashed my Skyrocket with cm-9.0.0-RC2-skyrocket, and after it books into the system I start getting the following error:

The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly.

With other ROMs I don't get this error.

Go to Recovery and wipe the both the cache and dalvik cache 3X, reflash again for good measures, and then see what happens.

Did that and the same happens. Keep getting the "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped." error message.

I would try fix permissions first.

More info?

What ROM, cwm, phone model, etc.....

Are you for sure a skyrocket or a Hercules?

What radio is installed? (Look under about phone)

That is usually because a file was deleted like a dialer.

I would redownload the ROM, check your md5 checksum and reflash.

Wipe all your caches, etc....

Are you first time CM9 user?

If so,wipe data/factory format system. Then flash your ROM. Then flash your gapps. Then format cache.
Wipe Dalvik Cache.
Reboot.
Let sit for a minute.
ROM Manager>Fix Permissions.
Reboot.

Good luck!

I'm a first time Samsung user and I've been testing some ROMS (AOKP, SkyICS, MUIU) testing and see which one looks better for me.

Right now I have:

Phone Model: SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 (Skyrocket, ATT)
ROM: AOKPJB-20120803-UNOFFICIAL-skyrocket
CWM: Custom ClockworkMod Touch v6.0.1.1 v9
Radio: I727UCLF6

Im a first time CM9 user.

I will try what you said about the ROM Manager and Fix Permissions, that's the only thing I haven't done yet and let you know how it goes.

Thanks.

onealvideo, yeah I did format data/factory wipe. And still the same.

Right now I'm trying again.

Just tried a moment ago, and no luck.

The error message just showed up one. And the phone looks great.

Gonna continue playing with it and see how it goes.
