i am a student doing work for my college im just now getting in to making apps and things java code library....well my professor said to learn something you gotta see how it ticks so im going to root my Samsung vibrant how easy will this be how easy is it to mess up

You actually can't mess this up... although I don't know which method you need since you didn't post your Android version.

oh Im sorry i have android 2.3 gingerbread
the firmware is 2.3.6
and the model number is a sgh -T959v

i was just reading some of the forums.. it looks like the T959v isn't support of the cm.. i know this question have been ask before but is it supported now
