Ok before I posted this I did some digging. I made sure I was running the updated radio and still when I try and use my camera it freezes then tells me it can not connect with the camera. Which is all odd seeing as the first night I modded the phone it worked. Any ideas what I am doing wrong here?

1. Were you directly from CM5 -> CM6 ?
2. Did you wipe ? What did u wipe?
3. Is it just the camera or the video cam mode? or both, or other apps having FCs

1. Bone Stock Froyo -> CM6
2. I followed the instructions on the wiki using Amon_Ra. Pretty sure I did wipe.
3. It's both.

Forgive me for being noobish, but at what point is the kernel installed flashed? That's not what the Amon_Ra is, was it?

I may be wrong, but at kernel there are stuff that affects camera which was incorporated into the kernel, eg like 720p video mode, etc.

The usual problem likes when user have the wrong radio version and will FC in camera's video mode. But since u have the correct radio and u said u wipe, next place to look probably is kernel.

Still I may be wrong though.

You don't have to give me an entire walkthrough, but at what point (or with what util) would I flash a new kernel? I'm kinda lost right now.

Pershoot Website ==>  http://droidbasement.com/db-blog/?p=1003

Pershoot Kernel 2.6.35.4 ==> http://droidbasement..._fp-082710a.zip

Instructions:
Flash the .zip through recovery

Ok, I'm pretty sure I understand. I remember how to flash through the recovery, but let me ask you this; does doing this make me lose all my settings apps etc? I know how to back them all up and all that, I just want to be ready.

Harsh line = I meant you don't have to go out of your way to write me an entire walkthrough. I didn't want to be a bother to you. I wasn't saying that you were giving me a walkthrough. It's just the opposite.. Sorry for the confusion and thank you for your help..

Nothing will be affected. Your apps and settings will be safe.
