I recently installed the following onto an SD card to boot the Nook Color.

generic-sdcard-v1.3-ICS-large-Rev3
cm-10-20130120-NIGHTLY-encore
gapps-jb-20121011-signed

Google Now does not want to run. Clicking the search bar triggers the "Unfortunately, Google Search has stopped" error.  I cleared the Google Search app cache then disabled and reset the app, but am getting the same results.

I used this version of GAPPS because the newer version (gapps-jb-20121212-signed) caused an additional similar problem with the keyboard.

Is there any combination that fixes the Google Search (Google Now) issue and the keyboard issue?

Thanks!

want to know this as well, I am on a Gnex with the 10.1 experimental build. Having this same issue. Considering using stock 4.2.1

Downloading the latest google search off of the play store fixed this issue for me.

I suspected this is a real problem with Cyanogenmod 10.1 with the current gapps.

I have the gut feelings that there are compatibility issues with Cyanogenmod and current Gapps.
