Hello,

According to the changelog there should be 6.1.0 with some important fixes especially for email. Is it available already and if not when this can be expected?

Regards
K

I know it's difficult to be patient, but the CM team has always said "it's ready when it's ready".  I continue to use the nightlys, good stuff!

First rule of Fight Club:
Never ask for ETAs.
OOPS. Applies for CM too.

Whatever they are , they did not resolve the sync stopping  issue :(( I just installed nightly build and the issues is still there. It is so annoying... in the previous release email did not work with security polices at all.. now it is kinda working .. but not entirely ... like a half pregnant ....

Assuming that you are speaking of the Exchange 2010 SP1 mobile policy issue.  AFAICT, no issues with 2007.  Still not working as of 2010-10-27 which was the last build of CM I had done). On a recent migration, I setup all WinMo phones first, then BBs (this shouldn't matter), and then killed the EAS mobile policy and setup Android 2.2 devices. Works fine, but it obviously depends on your environment as to whether or not you have that option available to you (I have a whopping 7 mobile users for that one). 2.3 will be out soon and the mobile profile timeout issue is supposedly fixed in the default email client. AFAIK, that particular fix hasn't shown up in froyo git yet (or if it will, but I didn't try the raw AOSP email client). No idea if K9 is capable of working for Exchange e-mail in the interim as I didn't try it. I also do not use EAS for contacts and calendar as I prefer SyncML (I have several clients, on multiple platforms to keep in sync) so that would be a viable option probably only for me.

This guy here had a different method which supposedly worked for CM6 (I haven't tried it):
