This was originally just going to be a Rom i threw together for myself and a few friends...well it seems that in the last few weeks i have gained some popularity beyond i could have ever imagined. Below you will find all the details you will need about the Rom and why you should in fact check it out.

- Source Built from a Mashup of Cyan and ESE81 to get both the speed and the options of both
- Completely Deodexed, allowing for any themes to be applied via metamorph or update.zips
- Zip-Aligned all apks for stremlined scrolling that is unserpassable

I have a request. Having your smoked theme avail for cm or updating your rom to allow the cyanogen camera.apk. that's seriously how close my phone is to being perfect. Once those changes become a reality I will not have a single other complaint as the roms are flawless. I am really impressed, my phone was a turd... now it's like a laptop in my pocket. A+++++++++++++++++++ to all! I have attempted using your framework-res.apk on my phone, but it bootlooped. I tried merging you files into cm's frameworkapk it also bootlooped. I weaped :'(

Love the new ROM!  It's as fast or faster than the new BB.  Does anyone know what this phone apk(?) is or how to get it on Steam?  I like not worrying about cheek dialing.

Wanted to add it's in Marty4Short's blue theme.  Thought it was cytown but doesn't look like the one in the current Steam.

Ok, I must be doing something wrong because the last several SteamMod releases I've tried installing have always cause my phone to hang at the Motorola logo indefinitely.  I've waited for a good 5 minutes just to make sure that it's not just taking a long time on initial boot, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Right now, I'm trying to download 4.0.6.1 with the 900mhz kernel and the Blackmod with every other option as stock or "no option."  I'm coming from Bugless Beast, so do I need to wipe data and cache?  I seem to remember being told not to choose that option, but I don't know if that's including coming from a different rom or not.  Anywho, I';m going to try both ways and see, but I'd really appreciate a reply since it seems to be working for everyone else.  Thanks!

I've come from BB V 1.1 without to much problem. If you're freezing up I would suggest you wipe both data and cache.  Pete doesn't suggest it when going to his ROM but most people suggest you do this when you go from BB to a Cyanogen type ROM.  You also may want to try a different kernel - I use the 1.0 GHz and it has been silky with install.

i have been having the same probelm coming from bb 1.1  i have wiped many times. the only thing that works is scanning hte barcode. here is the link.

Thanks, I'll try the scan option out.  What's strange is that I had SteamRom installed with the Dark Edge theme, but around 4.0 it stopped offering that as an option in Rom Manager, so I switched to BB while I waited for it to become available.  Since then I've been trying to get back to SteamRom, but nothing will work.  I've now tried installing both with AND without data wiping before install, and still it freezes at the M screen.

I had been changin way too many files at once and finally this morning i finished. I apoligize for any issues that you inccured during the download process. These have now all been fixed

In the next few days i will change this post, to make it more updated but until now you can go to my beta website posted here for all changelog, goodies and download links

I found another link to the QR picture, which like Hudson said, installed without a hitch compared to the Droid Manager menu.  I have no idea why, but I'm just happy to have it up and running again on my phone!  Thanks!  Now I just have to figure out how to make the Droptheme text in the notifications slider white so I can read it.

Anyone know how to uncheck the force UI option in the call settings.  Seems like I've seen this was a problem but can't find the solution in the forum.

Your Rom's are simply awesome. The best I've used. I like them even better than Cyanogenmod or Bugless Beast. I will be sticking with them for a long time to come. THANK YOU!
