I'm running a rooted moto droid 2.2. Using ROM manager I download CyanogenMod 5.0.8 when it reboots I always get a picture of a phone and a triangle with a exclamation mark on the screen. Can someone tell me why? And what it means? I'm in the learning process right now and been researching nonstop and its driving me nuts. I end up powering it down and loose most everything, go to my backup and start over again. Need some help before I really mess my phone up!

That's stock recovery. You need to reflash clockwork from rom manager.

Yeah. If clockwork doesn't work then try SPRecovery from RSDLite.

Read step 10 carefully. You have to do it right after you flash with RSDLite or it restores the original recovery. Same thing happened to me the first time.

they should automatically restore when you sign in with your google account, same with apps. make sure you use the same address as you did the first time.
setting / accounts and sync settings / make sure your google account is registered and sync is on
