11. Your L5 boots in the clockworkmod recovery

Succes with your Android 4.1 L5 phone!

(You can skip steps 24-33 to install without the google apps)

You can download the word file: https://docs.google.....Jub1ZRVjQ/edit

I've tested it by myself and it works perfect!! Much better than the stock ROM.

You can edit the build.prop to add the softkeys.
Type at the end of the file: qemu.hw.mainkeys=0

The screenshots are on this page:

I don't know. I installed it on my E610. You can try it and if it not works you can acces the download mode by pressing the vol down and up button and connect the usb cable. You install lg mobile support tool and do an emergency.

Hello  Marcel,

Some things:

Way dont build this tutorial up like: Root phone first/Install unlocked boatloader/Install CWM v6.0.2.8/Get the cm10 zip/Get the Gapps.zip Option./ And last there are some Kernels from XDA supporting Overclock to 1.1ghz for playing Temple run2 and Subway surfer without lagg.

You have to press the volume up and down button together and plug in the usb cable. This will work. I tested it 5 minutes ago by myself.

You don't have to root your phone. In the custom rom is builded in an unlocked bootloader and cwm.

I've got a more simplier method than v4...for cyanogenmod 10This tutorial is also there on youtube, but unfortunately it is in mexican language.therefore i'm translating it in english
First one all download all the necessary files
1)kdz updater :http://d-h.st/1XQ
2)bootloader and recovery unlocker .kdz :http://d-h.st/BuY
3)cyanogenmod 10 Beta 4 :http://d-h.st/tXi
Beta 5 :http://d-h.st/jTe
Beta 7(Mejorada) :http://d-h.st/1eZ(download any beta you like...i installed beta 7)
4)Also the google apps :http://d-h.st/dMg
Now the tutorial starts

1)put your phone in debugging mode and connect it to pc via usb (mtp)make sure u have all the drivers installed
2)Open kdz updater folder(KDZ_FW_UPD_ENG)in it open KDZ_FW_UPD.exe
3)in kdz updater in type blog select 3GQCT and in Phonemode blog select DIAG
4)copy the cyanogenmod.zip and gapps.zip in internal storage of your phone(sd card).
5)turn off your phone and reboot into download mode...read this if u dont know how to reboot into download mode
5)located the .kdz fie v10D_unlock.kdz and then launch software update
6)It will take around 5min if everything goes right your phone will reboot. You will see lg logo .Now you have clock work installed in your phone
7)interrupt reboot remove battery. Now to go in recovery mode press volume down button along with power button and then press home key after seeing the light of back and option key
8)now your phone will boot up into recovery.12. Navigate with the volume down, volume up and power buttons
9). Go to Wipe factory reset and do Yes - - delete al user data
10). Go to Wipe cache partition and do Yes – Wipe Cache
11) Go to MISC/Advanced
12) Go to Wipe Dalvik Cache an do Yes – Wipe Dalvik Cache
13) Then Go Back
14) Go to install zip from sdcard
15) Go to choose zip from sdcard(choose your zip)
16) Select the downloaded .zip and press the power button and click on Yes – Install name.zip
17) Wait a minute while installing Cyanogenmod
18)then go back twice
19)27. Go to install zip from sdcard
20). Select choose zip from sdcard and press the power button
21) Select gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip and press the power button(no neeed off restarting.just install gapps.zip there and there)
22) Select Yes – Install gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip
23)wait untill it installs and then go back and reboot
24)Now you have cyanogenmod 10 and google apps too
25)Just set up your..it takes a few mins.
26)Now all done, but if u want to overclock your phone upto 1100 mhz(to speed it up)
27)download from here http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=2180085 and download  CM-LG-L5-pinkflozd-Kernel.0.70.zip
28)to install this simply reboot into recovery and wipe factory reset, cahce partition and dalvik cache
29)then simply install zip from sd card and choose the zip and install it
30)Then overclock using set cpu from:http://www.apkmania.co/2012/12/setcpu-for-root-users-v309-apk.html (make sure you have root) and overclock upto 1100 mhz and dont overclock till 1150 your device may crash.. B)
