I didn't wipe before flashing CM6.1, so phone keeps repeating boot. From other topics I've gathered that you need to reboot it into bootloader. Is that true? If yes, how do I do it? And what are the next steps?

I'd appreciate any help!

Shut down your phone by pulling the battery out.
Press "power" and "back" at the same time untill you enter bootloader.
Use the volume buttons to navigate up and down and the powerbutton to select.
Select bootloader
Navigate to recovery and select that.
Now Clockworkmod should start. (In this meny you navigate using the trackpad, selecting items: pressing the trackpad)
Select Wipe/factory reset and wait. Then navigate to reboot and reboot.
If this doesn't solve it you can always restore a backup (I hope you made one) by going to clockworkmod and selecting backup/restore and then restore and selecting the backup you made.
