Given the recent explosion of nightly users, I understand your need for a place to discuss them, and/or ask if other users are having similar issues as you...this is that place

1) DO NOT: Post to the bug tracker
2) DO NOT: Open another thread (I will enforce this with temp bans)
3) DO NOT: Think of this as official forum support; this thread will be strictly user to user support. Don't expect CM-dev help.

** These CyanogenMod builds are highly experimental and unsupported.
**
** Please refrain from submitting bug reports for any issues
** you may encounter while running one of these builds.
**
** Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
** cause of male impotence.

for Motorola Greco(XT3) user :
-Before you proceed, kindly copy the Rom to your root of SD card and rename it to update.zip.
-Please take note that your contacts and message will be erase. backup your contacts to your email account and use sms n2 manager to backup your sms.

1)You must make sure your Greco is root ( find Universal Androot )
2)Install ROM Manager and Flash the Clockwork recovery but after tat do not install direct from the menu.
3) go to recovery mode ( Press Power Button while holding Vol up Button + Camera Button)
4) use vol up or down, scroll to the " install zip from sdcard " and press Cam Button to enter
5)press Cam button again on "apply sdcard:update.zip"
6) Press ok to let it start flashing the ROM
7) if you see the progress bar is moving, that means it is started already.
8) once done, reboot
9) if you success, you will be able to see the CyanogenMod Loading screen.
If you stuck at the Motorola blinking load screen, dont worry. Below is the solution to it :
1) boot into recovery mode again
2) this time select wipe all data and cache
3) after that, reboot your device
4) this time for sure you can load successfully :) enjoy ^^

Some Issues:

Build de 11102010

- Wifi problems when wake from standby. Sometimes it gets stacked in wifi menu and i must reboot it.
- Light sensors not very effective and the screen take some time to adapt light conditions.
- Got a reboot with navigon when was activating GPS. Only once.

- Future suggested features:
  - wake device with front keys (green, trackball or red key)
  - Led flash working as flashlight.

Keep up the great work...

I don't have that problem here, using builds #/ and #8.

Issues I had with #8:

  • After enabling gps, if I fire up Navigation, phone reboots to cyanogenmod animation
  • The battery discharded to 5% during the night (from 90%). I don't know if there was a process eating my battery or if this is another problem.
  • Recharging seems much slower now. I don't have any number to give and compare but I am sure its taking much longer. This is with the phone connected to a laptop, I didn't try with a wall charger yet.

Anyway, this is looking very good. Big thanks to all that contribute to code and bug fixing!
