Different recovery from Rom Manager / reboot to recovery

Hi everyone, I just flashed a Fascinate using the wiki, coming from another ROM, I already had clockwork on there, but I used the Heimdall suite to flash the recovery in the wiki thinking it would just overwrite the recovery already installed.  Everything works fine, CM boots, everything is functional, but when I am in ROM Manager and try to initiate a backup, it boots into orange clockwork 3.0.0.8, and errors.  But when I hold the power down, select reboot, and recovery, it boots into blue clockwork 5 and works just fine.  

Any ideas?
