Well, the problem seems to have solved itself. I upgraded my baseband firmware to XXLJ1 (was XXLH1), a short test went without problems. If the issue resurfaces, I'll report it properly, thanks. :)

The value on my device (Stock ROM) is "mtp,adb". With ADB enabled, naturally. But you apparently already figured that out.

Since all data and all apps are stored on the very same memory you're trying to pry from the phone's control, I highly doubt USB mass storage is possible. Apart from the file system issue, of course. It's ext4, so Windows won't be able to access it directly anyway.

Just use FTP.
