I forgot that Milestone releases started with CM10 and not 10.1 (they weren't there for CM9).
I'm not talking about the M-releases - I just thought there was a new CM9 version (later than 9.1) that was not released for i9300.

And I don't know what tests are performed. It may just be the dev team asking the device maintainer if they feel the release is good enough for a milestone release, or there could be a number of checks that are performed. As far as I know, there hasn't been anything publicly stating how they determine whether a device gets a Nightly/Milestone/RC/Stable release. I'm sure the CM team has a set criteria that has to be matched, but as far as I know, they haven't made that list public.
I think one of the problems of the i9300 around here is that there hasn't been anything publicly (at all) from any official entity and/or developer of CM stating something about i9300.
the feeling is that the i9300 was (as I mentioned before) left out.
I believe a nice (even short) forum or blog post saying something like: "i9300 user - don't worry" would make everyone around here calm and happy...

5 M-snapshot versions? Where did you find that? They only recently released M2 for devices (which is only the second one milestone release).

CyanogenMod 10.1 – M2 Release
CM-10.1 M-Series Builds Have Arrived
CyanogenMod 10.0 Release (not really a M Release, but u get the idea)
CyanogenMod 10 :: M2
CyanogenMod 10 :: M1
there might be some CM9 versions as well...

Unfortunately, I don't know of anything available to the public that states why a device didn't get an M release. Although there is the "known issues" put out by Team Hacksung and one or some of these may be the reason behind an M release being put out.

those are not really tests and I'm pretty sure the bug list for any other device is not shorter than this one - this is why it's not yet stable

well, which checks {queue dramatic music} the i9300 didn't pass that have made it completely forgotten for roughly 5 M-snapshot versions...

For some reason the intl S3 hasn't gotten the M2 snapshot build yet. You would need to use a nightly version.

I don't believe the M-Snapshot were ever meant to be released for the i9300.
for some reason, it seems, the i9300 was left out long time ago by the CM devs... :blink:

if there is no intention of fixing this, or any other issue in 9.1, please don't call it stable.
CM10 stable would be much appreciated as well...
